The old village lives again at Cima Sappada since the typical architecture of the houses and other buildings has been preserved over the decades, such as the old dairy, the smokehouse, the Giuseppe Fontana Museum; a visit to this village offers a very characteristic and authentic glimpse of the life of Sappada country folk.

Il percorso ad anello che va dal centro di Gemona del Friuli e sale sino ad Ospedaletto è stato pensato per far vivere ai visitatori un’esperienza indimenticabile, grazie ad una camminata di 11 chilometri che tocca alcuni tra i luoghi più interessanti della città e dei dintorni. Vediamo quali sono le tappe del trekking urbano ed extraurbano a Gemona.

Il percorso ad anello di 4 km che parte dal Duomo e vi ritorna, dopo aver raggiunto la parte alta di Gemona, permette la scoperta delle cinte murarie medievali e le annesse porte, protezione della città medievale e testimonianza dell’importante funzione di snodo commerciale della cittadina.
