Historisk sted i England

Der berühmte Steinkreis bei Amesbury in Südengland ist mehrere Jahrtausende alt und ist das wahrscheinlich bekannteste prähistorische Monument der Welt.

It's a very beautiful large set of ruins with a very interesting past that it explained through boards scattered around the ruins.

A gothic architectured mausoleum built by Edward Bliss in the early 1800's as the final resting place for him and his wife. It features quality flintwork for which the surrounding area was famous.

The history of this site spans centuries. The English Heritage exhibition on the site is interesting, but more could be done to tell the story of this amazing monument to English history.

A very well preserved ironstone mine dating back to 1865.

Look to your left and right and you can see a distinctive meandering line of small humps that cut across the path.

We are now inside a circle of standing stones called The Hurlers.
