July 2021 walk to Penmon Point with direct view to Puffin Island, taking in some historic Abbey and Castle ruins on the way. Crossing farmland and enjoying views across the sea and Menai straits.

Snowdonia National Park - Llanfihangel-y-pennant - St Michael's Church - Ty'n-y-ddôl - Afon Cader - Tyrrau Mawr - Cadair Idris - Craig Cwm Amarch - Craig Lwyd

Starting in delightful Moelfre, this walk follows cliffs and inland routes, with wide sea views and prehistoric archeology. The Lligwy Bay is fantastic and contains ancient geological features in addition to being a great sandy bay for bathing and exploring the rocks. You will also pass the memorial to The Royal Charter - an awful maritime disiaster as well as the RNLI Heritage Centre.

Start at Beddgelert - Circular Forest Walk (Long Walk). Once you are away from the more popular path "Lôn Gwyrfai", it is very quiet with hardly anyone around, even in summer months.

Enjoy the wide views and sands of Malltreath Bay, possibly visit Ynys Llanddwyn Island if the tide is right then return through Newborough Forest after enjoying the views towards Snowdonia across the Straits.

Walking local paths across fields and alongside Menai Straits. Great views towards Caernarfon and Snowdonia. Anglsey salt can be visited when open.

This route gives great views of the Mawddach estuary.

British coastline sectional day walk. Caught the train from Llanfairfechan to Bangor and walked back following the route on the map. Free parking next to the station. Stay safe, take the right gear and have a great day out.
