This is a circuit route, starting and ending in Lehardaun village. It is the same route used for the annual up-and-over challenge event, and has mixed terrain; the route starts and ends on quiet country roads. Having started in the village, after a few Kms, the route moves off road on to forest tracks and then progresses slowly up the mountain to the high point on Neiphin Mor.
After departing the summit, the route descends down the mountain to rejoin roads and eventually loop back to the village.
