A staedy climb from more or less sea level to the high roads on Halkyn Mountain, then some nice lanes back to the coast.

A sociable and undulating route on decent roads, with a chance to wave at people on the same ride.

Lockdown Week 8 (Newsar)

A sample of Flintshire's Ffordd Gwyn, a tribute to the Strada Bianche Spring Classic. Do you use the road bike to maximise speed on tarmac? Do you prefer MTB for safety on the off road sections. Maybe compromise with a Hybrid or gravel bike? The choice is yours.

Up and down dale... some very small and probably quite rough lanes. Some longer drags and some short sharp hills.

It goes up, it gets a bit steep, goes up again, it goes down , then down some more, along a bit, up, up quite a lot, down, up, down and ends where you started

Almost totally off-road as long as you are prepared to follow the canal towpath for some miles in Cheshire

A Road cycle that forms a horseshoe from the station at Pennyffordd Over the Llandegla moors then up to Horseshoe pass and down into Llangollen. Then on to Wrexham for a train back
